On voulait juste partager avec vous cet article paru vendredi dernier et dire un grand merci d’avoir pris le temps et laisser de l’espace pour parler de ce projet qui deviendra peut-être la nouvelle norme des tournées de musique.

What a nice picture to introduce you the Rosalina Family.. It’s the end of this tour, but It’s never really the end..

It’s a beautifull start, it was at some points a crazy dream, travelling only with bikes, playing shows and inviting other collective..

Now it was our reality for the past 6 weeks..

Thanks to Teatro Tatarira, Collective for Beautifull Trouble and Zofia to had amaizing colors in this tour..

Thanks to all the wonderful places who invited us..

Thanks to all the people for the support (mecanic, water, place to sleep, and so many others things) that make this possible.

Thanks to all this beautifull people who decided to take their bike and follow the rythmes of the Velocaravane..

And thank you so much, you, who came to our concerts and shows, this was really amaizing..

It is possible to make a musical tour by bicycle! We just finished a tour from Brussels to Biel in 6 weeks. But nowadays only for people who are ready to endure much. This attempt to not heat up the climat and express love for nature while touring is challenging. It’s a long way to go until this is possible for the mainstream of music makers.

What’s needed are several things: better embedding of road conditions and inclinations in maps, more cycle paths in cities and safer ways in the countryside. For festival organisers it is necessary to rethink hospitality; even though a group with bikes takes much less space on the roads, we need more storage space when we rest – because we can’t leave our gear in an open trailor in a parking space. Also it is clear, that we have to stay overnight. For bands it is necessary to accept the fact, that not every gig in any place can be played – 30km journey per day are already a decent bit of work when the sun is hot and there is a gig afterwrds…

We are just at the beginning of a critical mass to make the change real.

Many many thankful thoughts about this incredible tour we just have finished. We travelled by Bicycle from Brussels to Biel – roughly 1000 km while playing gigs on an average of three days each week, organising accomodation and food and looking after eachother – What a group! Million thanks to each one of you! (Kaspar)

Die Rosalina-Fahrrad-Tour kommt an der Juli – Critical Mass am 29.7.2022 in Biel an!

Rosalina ist seit fast zwei Monaten unterwegs – von Brüssel bis nach Biel – und findet an der Bieler CriticalMass und anschließend am gleichen Abend am Lakelive ihren finalen Aufenthaltsort.

Wir freuen uns mit allen Teilnehmenden, Freund*innen, Radfahrenden, kritischen Körper als kritische Masse durch Biel zu radeln. Starting Punkt ist wie üblich 18h beim Joran-Platz an der Schiffländte Biel.
Ending Punkt ist der Schlachthof Biel mit kleinem Apéro.

Wenn jemensch früher an diesem Tag mit der Rosalina-Tour von Solothurn bis nach Biel fahren will ist unser Startpunkt beim Wagenplatz Biz, Marktstrasse 69, 4500 Solothurn am 12h.

La tournée à vélo „Rosalina-Tour“ arrive le 29juillet à la Critical Mass de Bienne!

Rosalina est en route depuis début juin. De Bruxelles jusqu’à Bienne. La tournée se finit à la Critical Mass et puis plus tard la même soirée au Lakelive Festival.

Ça nous ferais très plaisirs de pédaler avec vous tou.te.s et créer une masse critique avec nos corps et nos vélos.

Starting Point: comme d’habitude à 18h à la Place Joran.
Ending Point: au Schlachthof Bienne pour un petit apéro.

Gestern haben wir Zürich hinter uns gelassen und haben nun nur noch die letzte Etappe bis nach Biel/Bienne zu bewältigen. unglaublich!

einerseitz freudig wieder nach hause zu kommen um die müden Beine zu erhohlen, andereseits wehmütig dass das ganze Abenteuer schon bald ein Ende hat…

Ihr habt uns so lieb empfangen und Versorgt und es war einfach ein Gelungener Abend in jeglicher hinsichten. Noch schwingen diese schönen Erinnerungen in unseren Köpfen, Körper und vor allem in unseren Herzen nach!

Se réchauffer est important, comme s’amuser et trouver de bons endroits pour dormir… la vie est en route !!…

nous avons dit au revoir à la chaleureuse belgique et sommes arrivés à luxenbourg!!

La Kulturfabrik d’Esch sur Alzet nous a accueillis à bras ouverts. Après 42 km de route, directement de la selle à la scène pour jouer…

It has been 10 days since our departure from Brussels. And… hurraaay! Yesterday we crossed the Luxembourg border and a new chapter of our music bike tour has begun.

The last 4 days we spent in the Ardennes, the Belgian mountains, where we played at several farms. It was so good to be in the nature, to eat such fresh and healthy food, to be woken up by animal noises… But in order to live all these pleasures, each day we had to face a sometimes enormous struggle, climbing the hills by bike with all the luggage…ohhh our muscles grew stronger, there is no doubt about it! We had many troubles with our Rosalina tandem bike, which is carrying the heaviest stuff. And the organisation of a group of 13 people all speaking very different languages is not always easy 🙂 but we get there, we make a lot of sitzung (=“meeting“ translates literally as „a seating“, which is a good thing, too). And we even find some energy to dance in the evenings to the music of @hermanos_perdidos_music!

premier jour pour se reposer après une semaine de pédales, de concerts, de journées pleines de soleil, de pluie, mille impressions, odeurs, vues magnifiques et face à des montées abruptes… nous sommes tellement reconnaissants de pouvoir nous reposer au floumont, avec une hôte si charmante, merci ales!!

Nous avons trouvé un vélo à trois roues – avec nos modifications il est devenue elle – la rosalina!

Arrivées a Bruxelles

Après un voyage avec quatre vélos, trois remorques, nos instruments et bagages nous sommes arrivés à Bruxelles. Jusqu’au premier concert à la poissonnerie le 16 Juin nous préparons nos vehicules pour la grande tourné.

In Brüssel angekommen

Nach einer aufwändigen Reise mit vier Fahrrädern, drei Anhängern, allen Instrumenten und dem Gepäck sind wir in Brüssel angekommen. Bis zum erste nKonzert in „La Poissonnerie“ am 16. Juni, nutzen wir die Zeit um unsere Fahrgeräte auf die lange Tournée vorzubereiten.

Die Vorbereitungen laufen auf hochtouren!
Schon bald ist es soweit; unsere Tournée startet am 15.6. mit dem Konzert in der ‚Poissonnerie‘ in Brussel

en pleine préparation !
Notre tournée débutera le 15 juin avec un concert à la Poissonnerie à Bruxelles.
